The Seven Year Itch

Tickets will go on sale online at www.indianaplayers.com in early January and will also be available for purchase in-person at the Box Office. House and Box Office open 30 minutes before each performance. Seating for this performance is General Admission. Online ticket purchases are final. No refunds or exchanges. About the Show:

“Richard Sherman roams restlessly around his empty apartment, bemoaning the fact that his wife of seven years, and their son, have just walked out on him. Then, without warning, a gigantic flower pot tumbles down from an overhead balcony, nearly putting him permanently out of his misery. The jarring event has a strange effect on Richard. He now sees his marriage as wasted time and feels it necessary to exercise his libido as quickly as possible. Suddenly reborn, he invites the young woman who lives on the floor above down for an evening of temptation. The night doesn't quite go the way he thought it would, as morality and guilt sneak into his head. In his conscience—literally following him about the apartment—a soul-struggle of heroic and hilarious proportions ensues.” (Concord Theatricals)


 

DEADLINE APPROACHING! SUBMIT A SHOW NOW FOR THE 13TH ANNUAL ONE-ACTS FESTIVAL



There is still time to submit a piece for this season’s One-Act Festival happening March 29 - April 5th, 2024! Submit an original piece you would like to bring to the stage! Or submit an existing one-act you want to direct (royalty-free preferred). One-Acts should be less than 15 minutes in length.

*Anyone interested in directing a mainstage production must have previous directing or stage management experience with the Indiana Players. Previous experience includes Mainstage and/or One-Act Festival productions. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis with approval from the Board of Directors.


 

VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH



Our December Volunteer of the Month is KATRINA HOLBROOK! Katrina went above and beyond during our recent production of A Christmas Peter Pan. A parent to three cast members, Katrina also volunteered her time helping with scenery/set decoration, doing numerous cast members’ hair and make-up for performances, and even lent numerous space heaters to the theater when our furnaces went down. Thank you Katrina for all you do!

Membership provides you with discounted admission at all mainstage productions and allows you to run for and elect the Board of Directors at our annual meeting each May.
