About the event
Described as “the greatest American play ever written,” Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer Prize-winning ”Our Town” is an enduring drama that tells the story of every town, the whole world over, by transporting you to the small fictional town of Grover’s Corners and into the daily lives of the Webb and Gibbs families as their children fall in love, marry, and eventually – in one of the most famous scenes in American theatre – die. Narrated by a stage manager and performed with minimal props and set, Wilder delivers universal truths about the meaning of love, life, death, and what it means to be human.
