Indiana Players, Inc. Newsletter - February 2024

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE

INDIANA PLAYERS’ SHAKESPEARE TEAM

Early this month, the Indiana Players’ Shakespeare Team, comprised of seven talented students, competed in the Pittsburgh Public Theater’s 30th Annual Shakespeare Monologue & Scene Contest.  Under the experienced mentorship of coaches John Henry Steelman and Sara Steelman, assisted by Meghan Cronin, the Shakespeare Team has been preparing for the competition since early October. This year, more than 800 area students from more than 70 schools competed in the preliminary rounds of the Shakespeare Monologue & Scene Contest. Four of our team members received honorable mentions (top 15%) and our youngest team member made it all the way to The Showcase of Finalists, held this past Monday, February 26th. Congratulations to the entire Shakespeare Team! We are so proud of your accomplishments.
