Playhouse Renovation Updates

Help the Playhouse!

If you are a contractor or work for one, please submit a bid for the following:

• Installation of Gutters, Downspouts, and Heat-tape for the rear of the building. This must be completed before the winter snowfall and freeze.
• Bids for a new Heating/AC Unit are also needed.

IPI members are welcome to donate the costs for the above repairs. Should a member wish to donate the costs (or partial costs) of a “repair item,” the procedure is easy.

1. Call 724-463-3331 to let the theater manager know that you would like to donate for a repair.
2. The awarded low-bid contractor will contact you (with your permission) to verify your monetary participation.
3. Once the work is completed, the contractor will submit a bill (or partial bill) to you for payment.
4. You pay your “donation share” to the contractor.
5. The theater manager will verify with each donor as to their share and the total bill.
6. The IPI treasurer will prepare a letter for you and the IRS pertaining to your donation for tax purposes. You will also have the actual contractor’s bill for additional verification of your donation.

This method allows the more desperately needed repair items to be completed while limiting the hardship for any particular donor.
