Fundraising Help Needed The Indiana Players is forming a fundraising committee. An initial fundraising campaign netted sufficient cash to cover the various expenses involved in the building search and still left the Players with enough for the down payment on the Playhouse. This was possible because of the generosity of corporations such as First Commonwealth and S&T Banks and patrons such as Florence Helwig and John Henry and Sara Steelman. A substantial amount will still be needed to fully convert the building into a proscenium performance space. Anyone who has experience in fundraising or ideas in this area, please contact the Indiana Players as soon as possible to help us organize. Call Fran Stineman at 724-465-8228 or send her an e-mail. |
Introductory letter from the Indiana Players' Building Fund Committee.
Please remember that this is an
opportunity for you to invest in the future of your community theater.
If you haven’t done so already, please show your support of the
Indiana Players by returning your Certificate of Support with your
pledge and/or donation. Keep in mind that the monetary state and federal community grants that
we are and will be seeking also take in account the percentage of
community support that we can document. This shows the grant committees
that our community is behind us. So although we would greatly appreciate
the return of your certificate with a pledge of any amount, the mere fact
that you return your completed certificate signifies your support in our
endeavor to keep live theater prevalent in Indiana County. If you can’t locate your support form, just print it out from
As always, thank you for your past and future support.
